The Story Of Beyond The Bride
While planning my own wedding I was frustrated at the lack of real reviews for wedding suppliers. It seemed everywhere I went the same advertisers were featured and they were always the most expensive in the industry. It became obvious to me that brides were only being exposed to suppliers with big advertising budgets which is no indication on their service or quality.
So decided to change it! I dreamed up the idea in late 2006 to launch a wedding website that allowed brides freedom of speech to review wedding suppliers.
In February 2007 Beyond The Bride was born. It was started as a hobby site with only a few members and after 6 months we developed a really strong following and a very active forum community.
As the Beyond The Bride community went from strength to strength we realised we needed to take it from a hobby site to a major site in the industry. So we set about developing a brand new website that would cater for all brides with an amazing resource of information and an exciting forum.
In October 2008 we launched a complete new site design and in mid-2009 we will be launching an amazing new wedding supplier directory. The directory like the old one will be review based and allow brides to review their favourite suppliers!
Beyond The Bride is alway evolving and we have some exciting new projects in the works.
